Can you say transfers???

February 1, 2016

It was a miracle this week! Everyone in my family emailed me!! Y'all are the best:))))))

SO YOU WANNA KNOW??? The big transfer news! drum roll please?
I am leaving my home here in Huntsville.  I am being transferred to Athens, AL.  Which is VERY close to Huntsville.  In fact one of the families in the Branch lives in Athens! So I am leaving Huntsville, But I know I will see the Silvas again! Which makes me SO HAPPY.  Presidente Lopez on Sunday said that the branch will have a Fiesta at the Silvas soon so I will be able to see everyone again!  haha

A little more about Athens! My CCM companion, Sister Benioni has served there since we both came out and it is a English ward.  It is kinda in the middle of no where. Most people have a good amount of land and its an older city than Huntsville so the people are a little older. BUT I am super excited.  My new companion is Sister Menenga! I knew her because she was Benioni's companion and my trainers companion so I have meet her and she is awesome. I am super excited. After we got the call from the APs about the transfer news, President Hanks called and told me that Sister Menenga went in for surgery that night to get her appendix taken out.  WHAT.  She got pretty sick and turns out it was appendicitis.  So we will see what happens!  Yesterday we got a call and turns out I will be serving in a trio! With Sister Thompson as well, who I also know, not too well but I have met her! I am excited to see what happens! haha Should be interesting!

I have lots and lots of mixed feelings but I know this is all the Lord's work and it all needs to be done. I have heard great things about Athens!!  I am sad to leave the Branch though. Yesterday was my last Sunday with them and they asked if I would give a 5-10 minute talk about an experience from my mission, something I have learned, and my testimony.  Thankfully I did not cry!  But as I was conducting the closing hymn I started to tear up.  I know its just this way because this was my first area. I have become so close to this branch.  I learned how to be a missionary here and these people are my family!  I have truly learned something from every single family in the branch.  They are wonderful people in the gospel and wonderful examples to me.

This week was wonderful though!
We had Interviews with President Hanks which is always wonderful.  He is a wonderful man! As I was walking in for the interview he said "Hows my happiest missionary!"  He told me my attitude is infectious! haha so sweet.  We talked about the work and how the family is back home!

We have a new investigating family, Los Hernandez! ***** mostly, the mom. Sister Mitchell and I tracted into her and she was very interested so we talked and got a return appt.  We brought a member with us and just talked about the Book of Mormon.  He husband was there too and the spirit was so strong.  They both said they really wanted to look into it and read it.

Ana!!! Its been awhile since I have talked about her but she is doing wonderfully.  She is the best.  Seriously. We see her almost every day, if not every other day. The Silvas came with us to an appointment with her this past week. We talked about baptism and the Law of Chastity! Her son will almost be a month old and she continues to read the Book of Mormon very regularly along with the Gospel Principles book we gave her.  She LOVES the Gospel Principles book.  She says she has many questions but whenever she opens that book up it answers all of them and she feels really good.  She explained to Hna Silva that the Book of Mormon is one of her most prized possessions.  She loves it. and Loves the way she feels when she reads it. She has been to church only once before her son was born and now is just recovering and will hopefully be able to come back soon.  She wants to get baptized and realizes she needs to get married to her boyfriend before she can get baptized but her boyfriend does not want to get married.  And she doesn't think it will happen any time soon.  He wants to get married in Mexico with his whole family, which is understandable. We explained to her that she could explain to him her desire to get baptized and get legally married and then have a celebration back in Oaxaca.  We will see.  Please pray for her boyfriend to have as softened heart!

We gave her a Jesus coming out of the tomb pass along card and told her to put it somewhere she will see it everyday.  The next day we came back it was on the back of her from door:) cutest thing I have ever seen.  She is so solid.  I love her!

Thank you for everything! I know this is the church of Jesus Christ.

LOVE YOU ALL
con mucho amor,
Hermana Moline
